Catherine Moore
Catherine Moore is an artist and illustrator based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Her work explores the magic and mystery of what we do not yet understand, and blends it with the beauty of what is proven and tangible. With a background in traditional illustration, her paintings can weave a narrative incorporating symbolism and dark humor often inspired by pop culture and folklore. She frequently focuses on themes of the supernatural, imagination. and the ethereal nature of life.
Catherine has exhibited in galleries across the U.S., Europe, and Australia, and has an international collector base. Since 2022 she has been the co-host of the Off the Easel podcast. Catherine resides with her family in San Leandro, California.
